Dear JavaZone speaker!
JavaZone is getting close and we ask you to read the following important information carefully:
Speaker's Dinner As previously communicated, our traditional event - Speaker's Dinner - will this year take place in the restaurant Oslo Mekaniske Verksted on Tuesday September 16, at 1900h. A great chance to get to know the other speakers and the people responsible for creating this great event!
For those interested, we will meet up outside main entrance of the JavaZone conference venue, Oslo Spektrum Arena, at 1800h for a quick tour, before we head over to the restaurant. Oslo Spektrum lies parallel to Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel and just walking distance from Oslo Central Train Station.

Speaker's tickets You need a ticket in order to be admitted into the conference venue. The ticket must be worn when inside the conference venue, or security might throw you out. There will be a special speaker's entrance at Spektrum Arena, on the side towards the Oslo Plaza Hotel, see linked photo below. A JavaZone crew at the entrance will hand you the ticket and provide you with information on how to find the speaker's lounge.

Arrival at the conference venue and your presentation room We recommend that you arrive at the conference venue between 08.00 and 09.00 on the opening day. There will be an opening show starting at 8:15, and the first presentations will start at 09.00. You can get help and make final adjustments to your presentation in the speaker's lounge.
If it's not possible for you to arrive when the conference starts, we kindly ask that you arrive at the venue well ahead of your talk in order to make sure that you arrive at your presentation location at least 15 minutes prior to your presentation. Notify the room attendant in order to get help to prepare for your talk.
Please also note if your talk is scheduled at location "Lab1" the audience will be sitting on both sides of the stage - the stage is in the middle of the room.
ClubZone On Wednesday evening conference delegates will have ample opportunities for mingling and socializing at various bars and clubs in the vicinity of the conference venue. More information regarding ClubZone can be found in the printed program that you will receive on site.
